Birthday Bonus

Hey so today is my birthday and I thought I might share a few random facts about me. So... 1. My birthday is June 8, 2005. 2. I am 15. (I almost put down 14 there until I realized that I'm actually not that young anymore.) 3. I do not like coffee. I have tried to like coffee. I've forced myself to drink it even though my tastebuds were repelling it extremely. I still cannot like it no matter how hard I try. 4. I am a craftsy person, but I like coming up with my own ideas. I do NOT like when I HAVE to do something when I'm not in the mood. Then it is no fun. 5. I have an attic bedroom  which I LOVE. It has many problems (bugs, scorching heat in the summer, freezing cold in the winter, have to run up 2 flights of stairs to get to it), but I still love it. It's my cozy, private haven. I am trying to keep the color theme black, white, and gold with a touch of dusty rose/blush. I actually don't care if it's not perfectly colored right. It's more homey if its not.

Bored No More

Image
Hey. Are you bored? I am still in quarantine so I am EXTREMELY bored. So I came up with a list of THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU ARE BORED. (Shoutout to my friend Natalia for giving me some of these awesome ideas. Go check out her amazing blog at brookesters.blogspot.com) 1) Photoshoot. This can be with a sibling (if they let you), or yourself on the timer mode. (Okay I realize that may not be the most practical but hey, whatever works!) 2) Create something. There are many DIY videos on YouTube that you can check out. Paint a rock with an inspiring quote on it to put by a trail to bless someone, make something awesome for your bedroom, whatever🤷‍♀️ 3) Attempt a physical exercise. A cartwheel, the splits, a handstand, etc. Just please dont harm yourself while trying any of these. Please. 4) Bless someone by doing anything. It could be a card, a phone call, an email, or a letter (isn't it always such fun to see you have mail?) Maybe you could make supper or bake cookies for someone. You can

Crying=Weakness

No. NO!! Absolutely not. Unless your crying over not getting your way or something equally babyish. It's ok to cry if: A loved one passes away. That's a way of expressing your grief. Its healthy to cry over something like that.  You need to let loose some feelings. Dont keep them bottled up inside. You will ache and feel depressed. I have experienced this. If you cry way into the night the morning is usually better. Note the usually. Sometimes you may feel that life couldn't get any worse and your depression flows with you into the next day. That is not a good feeling and normally that does not happen. (Mind you that I am speaking of myself here. I am kind of using this as a way of expressing my bottled up feelings.) You are going through a tough time physically, emotionally, or spiritually. This will probably lead back to the second point above. It will probably be feelings that need to be let out. But maybe not. You may still cry.       *          *

Hello! This is me...

Hi. I am Gwenda. I have started this blog because I am bored (surprise surprise) and I have always thought blogging was cool. So for introductions. No I'll try not to make this a long and boring speech if that's where your mind went. (Don't worry, I know we've all suffered from those enough already). My name is Gwenda Bauman. I am 14 years old, turning 15 this June. I am thought of as an extrovert which I suppose I am. I do like my "me" times too though. My favorite colour is olive green. My favorite book is.....please dont pressure me with that question. There are far too many good books in this world to pick put one as being THE BEST. My favorite food is pasta. There is a problem with that though. Every time I go out to eat I want to order pasta but it always comes in these HUGE bowls and I always get sick of it by the end and start eating off my siblings plates. But I never learn. I always order pasta again the next time we eat out. Anyone else hav
